Description

Ever since taking my first images of the Heart Nebula last Fall, and then following it up with some time on the Soul Nebula, I have wanted to get both targets in the same frame. Fast forward to now, I have a scope that shoots at 275mm and I can get them both in the frame! Super excited to finally be able to do it! I was able to get 5 hours in and I am looking to get a lot more - hopefully the next time a new moon rolls around. I feel like if I can get between 10-15 hours total I will be good.

Processing note: I added a faux luminance layer by using the red channel from a starless image done in Starnet++. I am not sure if I like it or not, since it blurs the stars, etc. For now, I am going to keep it in the image.
